Terms and Conditions for Membership

By registering as a member of this Lawyers' Membership Platform ("the Platform"), you agree to the following terms and conditions. Please read them carefully before completing your membership application.

Eligibility

  • Membership is open to licensed lawyers, advocates and legal professionals duly enrolled with a recognized Bar Council & Association.
  • Verification of professional credentials may be required before approval.
  • The Platform reserves the right to accept or decline membership applications at its discretion.

Membership Use

  • Membership is personal and non-transferable.
  • Members agree to use the Platform only for lawful, professional and ethical purposes.
  • Misrepresentation of identity, qualifications, or practice details will result in termination of membership.

Code of Conduct

  • Members must uphold professional integrity and follow the ethical standards of the legal profession.
  • Abusive, defamatory, discriminatory or unlawful content is strictly prohibited.
  • Members are expected to respect confidentiality and privacy when sharing information or engaging in discussions.

Member Directory & Visibility

  • Members may choose to be listed in the public lawyer directory, subject to privacy preferences.
  • Information provided for the directory must be accurate and kept up to date.

Content Sharing

  • Members may contribute articles, comments, or resources ("Content").
  • By submitting Content, members grant the Platform a non-exclusive right to display, share and publish it.
  • Members remain responsible for the accuracy and originality of their contributions.

Client Referrals

  • If the Platform facilitates client referrals, members are solely responsible for their professional engagement with clients.
  • The Platform does not guarantee client leads and is not liable for the outcome of any engagement.

Privacy & Data Protection

  • Member data will be collected, stored and used in accordance with the Platform's Privacy Policy.
  • Personal contact information will not be shared publicly without consent.

Termination of Membership

  • The Platform reserves the right to suspend or terminate membership for violation of these Terms and Conditions, unethical behavior, or misuse of services.
  • Members may voluntarily withdraw from the Platform by providing written notice.

Liability Disclaimer

  • The Platform provides networking, resources and opportunities but does not endorse or guarantee the services of any member.
  • The Platform is not responsible for disputes between members or between members and clients.

Amendments

  • These Terms and Conditions may be updated from time to time. Members will be notified of significant changes and continued use of the Platform constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
